SEED Activities

SEED is dedicated to raising the stature of Pine Lake as an environment and arts-first city. SEED will create education, economic, and community development opportunities through programming, policy, and events— establishing enduring appreciation, protection, and nurturing of the natural world that contains the city.

2023 Lake Litter Study

Seed is conducting a study, to gather data that can be used to assist the City in setting policy for the use of the lake and park. Volunteers will pick up trash around the lake, then photograph, count, and categorize it. The results will be reported on a simple form, then aggregated to identify information about usage patterns.

If you would like to participate here is a link to the Protocol.

The native plants along Club House Drive will provide nourishment and shelter as the butterflies migrate across North America.
